School Programmes

Hands on Heritage - the Museum is widely recognized for quality educational programmes developed in collaboration with teachers. Programmes incorporate a hands-on component, small group work, and link museum collections and heritage topics to themes in the BC school curriculum for grades K through 12.

Our series of 7 core programmes is offered each year, all year, so teachers can incorporate them into long term lesson planning. In addition, each year we offer school programmes which interpret our temporary exhibits. The grade levels and curriculum links will vary with the changing themes of the travelling exhibits.

All programmes must be booked in advance. Cost: $40.00,
