While were not operational, why not come out for a visit and explore the Site on your own. Please note sawmill and steam train will be operational except as noted (June 17 - Beaufort Gang Train Robbery / Father's Day Special and June 23 - Summer Steam Special).

Old-fashioned Days (walk-in): adult $10.00, senior/youth $7.50, child $6.25, family $26.75.

Thursday to Sunday - Steam Days

Not only can you take the steam train from the E&N Train Station (3100 Kingsway) out to the McLean Mill on Steam Days, you can also see the steam-operated sawmill in action. 

On Super Steam Sundays you can see the steam donkey (steam powered winch used for logging) and the heel boom loader at work as well.

Partake in some "old-fashioned" and family focused activities - such as games, crafts, and storytelling.Or just relax in the peace and tranquility of the Mclean Mill National Historic Site.

Wine Steam Train
Chase & Warren Estate Winery

The Alberni Pacific "Steam" Railway is pleased to announce that they now stop at the Chase & Warren Estate Winery.  Chase & Warren is Canada's only winery with direct access by rail, and offers guided tours, sampling and of course the opportunity to purchase one of their wines such as a bottle of Pinot Noir, Beaufort Blush, Oraninesteiner or Gervurtztraminer. This family-run winery started planting in 1996, sold their first bottle of wine in 2003, and now grows 38 varieties of grape.

Group Rates: discounted rates are available to groups of 15 or more who pay together in one sum.  Bus driver and tour escort are admitted to the mill site and/or train free of charge.  For groups of 14 or fewer, regular rates apply.
